This is the last of three signup steps for a new seller. Steps one and two (name your store, upload your first product) are already done. Here they choose how they get paid: we handle everything for them, or they connect their own Stripe account. The whole signup is meant to take under ten minutes. That speed is the Gumroad-simple promise, and it is why there are only two choices on this page. The fees shown are our current proposal, not a decision.

This is the seller's home screen, the first thing they see every day. It answers three questions at a glance: how much did I sell, how much extra did the growth tools earn me, and when is my next payout. The card called “Where revenue came from” is our sales pitch in one picture. The affiliate row and the upsell row do not exist on Gumroad, because Gumroad has neither.

This is the seller's order list: every sale, what was in it, where the buyer came from, and its status. It exists because a seller's day-to-day is not funnels, it is support. "I never got my file", "please refund me", "how much did I make on that sale". Lightfunnels already has orders, so this is reuse with a thin digital-goods layer on top: download counts, resend links, and refunds that claw back the affiliate commission automatically. Click any row to open the order.

One order, everything the seller needs to help a buyer without contacting us: resend the download link, grant extra downloads, or refund inside the 30-day window. The money box shows exactly how the $150 splits between the seller, the affiliate and us, and which payout it lands in. Showing the split on every order is part of the Your Money promise: no surprises at payout time. A refund automatically claws back the affiliate's commission, so the seller never carries that cost.

The seller's inbox. It is a support desk, not a chat app. Every conversation is attached to an order or a product, so the order sits beside the message with the fixes one click away: resend link, extra downloads, refund. Buyers write by replying to their receipt email or from the "Get help" page; sellers answer from here or from their own email, both land in the same thread. Reply speed is measured and feeds the "Replies within a day" badge on the marketplace profile. Saved replies cover the five questions buyers actually ask.

The DigitalFunnels tab of the same inbox: conversations between the seller and us. We open most of them ourselves, always with a named person, and every thread has a status and the 48-hour clock from the Your Money page. This is where the payout promises become real: a document request, a dispute, a product review. Behind the scenes our team answers from an ordinary helpdesk tool; the seller sees a clean thread here and the same messages in their email. No forms that disappear.

This is where a seller sets up one product: the files, the price and the delivery rules. The part that matters is the “Boost this product” panel on the right. Four switches give the seller an order bump, a one-click upsell, a downsell and a price test, without ever opening a funnel builder. Lightfunnels does the work underneath. This single panel is the reason a seller would leave Gumroad for us.

This is what a buyer sees when they click a seller's link. It deliberately looks like a normal, trustworthy product page with one Buy button, not a sales funnel. Everything the seller typed on the product screen appears here. The Lightfunnels page builder powers it, but the seller never has to touch it.

The buyer pays here. The yellow box is the order bump: an optional add-on the buyer accepts with one tick, and the total updates. In our example three in ten buyers take it. Also note the small line naming the affiliate who sent this buyer. That tracking is automatic, nobody had to set anything up for this sale.

This page appears once, right after payment goes through. One offer, one click, and the card is not re-entered. Saying no takes the buyer straight to their files. This is the second growth tool, and in our example it adds about a sixth to revenue. Gumroad has nothing like it.

The buyer collects their files here and also receives them by email. Download links expire and have a limit, which protects the seller's files from being passed around. The page also shows the receipt, lets the buyer opt in to file updates, opens their library of past purchases, and invites them to become an affiliate, which feeds the seller's affiliate program.

What a buyer sees after clicking "Get help with this order" on the download page or in their receipt. No login: the link in the receipt identifies the order. The most common problem, a dead download link, is fixed by the buyer instantly without bothering the seller. Refunds show the window and the timing. Anything else becomes a message to the seller, attached to the order, answered by email. If the seller stays silent for 48 hours, the buyer gets a link to ask us to step in. We stay out of the seller's relationship with their customer until then.

This is where a seller runs their affiliate program. The key thing is the public signup link at the top: anyone can join through it without the seller doing anything. On Gumroad the seller has to add every affiliate by hand. Commissions, the hold period for refunds, and the payouts to affiliates are all handled by us, not by the seller.

This is what a potential affiliate sees when they click a seller's join link. They sign up in about a minute, are approved instantly, and get their tracking link on the next page. One affiliate account works across every seller on the platform, so someone who promotes three creators signs up once. This is the page Gumroad does not have.

This page is our answer to Gumroad's biggest complaint: money frozen with no explanation and nobody to talk to. It shows exactly when the seller gets paid, the complete list of reasons a payout could ever be delayed with how long each takes, and a named person who replies within two days. It also shows the path to move to their own Stripe at a lower fee once they grow. The policy text on this page is the specification for the payout system. We write it before we build.

This is how a seller moves from Gumroad to us. They upload their Gumroad export, we show them what we found (products, customers, files) and we set up redirects so their old Gumroad links keep selling from here. We are open about the one thing that cannot move: existing subscriptions. This importer is arguably the product, because it removes the pain of switching.

This is the marketplace: the home page of the platform itself, where buyers search, browse categories and find featured products. The decision log cuts it from the first build because a marketplace needs buyers to attract sellers and sellers to attract buyers, and that takes years. We show it so everyone can see where the product goes once there are enough sellers. Two things we would do differently from Gumroad Discover: every ranking is explained and nobody can pay for placement, and the marketplace fee (proposed) applies only to sales the marketplace brings a seller. Their own link sales stay at their normal fee.

A sub-page of the marketplace: one category, with a search inside it and filters on the left. The first result is Lena's Contract Pack, the same product from the seller screens. A marketplace listing is not a different thing, it is the same product with the "List on the marketplace" switch turned on in the product editor. Sellers opt in per product, and a product has to pass our quality review before it appears here, which is the same review we need anyway for abuse and takedowns.

This is a creator's page inside the marketplace. It is not the same as their own store: the store (lena.digitalfunnels.com) is the creator's own site with their funnel and their branding, and it exists from day one. This profile is how the same creator appears to buyers browsing the marketplace, under the marketplace's navigation and with the marketplace's trust signals: reviewed creator, refund rate, verified reviews, follower count. Buyers can follow a creator and get new releases in their library. The "Visit store" button sends the buyer to the creator's own site. Fee rule, decided: a buyer who arrives from the marketplace counts as a marketplace sale for 30 days, on any of the creator’s pages including their own store. Otherwise every seller would steer buyers off the marketplace to avoid the fee.
